The process of painting is important to me in my work. I paint layers on my tempera paintings, covering and erasing, over and over again. My working method is to travel back and forth, along the way, a circle of covering, erasing, washing and covering again. There is often some contradiction behind my works. On the other hand, this contradiction is often not resolved – sometimes more questions remain. Although the painting changes during the process, it always includes the previous layers and their effects on the final result. The process of creating a work is in a certain way consistent with the changes in human life. In my work, I deal with, among other things, these questions related to time and the processes of change. In addition to painting, I also make graphics and assemblages.
My works made with different techniques are on display, and I will demonstrate the tempera painting technique to those interested.
The studio is a brown stone house behind a green wooden house on the side of the street. There are signs on the street.
