Hub Feenix is ​​a center for creativity and well-being established in Meltola's historic 15,000m2 sanatorium in 2020. Hub Feenix's international artist residency began in 2023. In the first year, 19 artists visited the residency, and in the second year, 38 artists from all over the world. September's artists in residence welcome guests to their studios, to explore their works, working processes and ideas behind the work, to discuss and get to know each other.

The September artists of the Hub Feenix artist residency will be there in their studios. The cozy café at Hub Feenix is ​​open and serves tea, coffee, and sweet and savory snacks. House tours of the renovated, inspiring spaces of the magnificent five-story stone castle leave from the lower lobby on both days at 3 p.m. There is also art on the Magic Forest Trail. Hub Feenix is, in the words of one of the artists in residence, a "Mecca of creativity" - you are warmly welcome to take a look.

Driving directions

By car from Helsinki 1h. By train from Helsinki to Karis railway station 55min, from where it is 8km to Hub Feenix. On Saturdays there may be one bus service from Karis station to Meltola stop and back. From Meltola bus stop it is only a 100m walk to Hub Feenix.
