Ulla Remes is a Kuopio-based visual and community artist with a 25-year career: 37 solo exhibitions and more than 50 group and collective exhibitions in Finland and abroad. She also makes Tuntumaalaus -live art in cross-artistic collaboration, often with musicians. In her colouristic, colour-drenched paintings, emotion and connection with nature are essential. Remes also plays with colour in her monotypes (garborundum or etching as bases).
Ulla Remes brings art into new contexts and has developed her Emotional Success coaching into a model of art-based mediation.

There is a pop-up art sale in the lobby downstairs and upstairs in the studio you can participate in a collective Autumn Forest painting on Fri 18-19.30. and Sat-Sun 12-15.
