Information about the artist / the group

I am a printmaker and illustrator, and I work at Hub Feenix, a center for creativity and well-being near Karjaa. I make colorful monotypes, the size of which can vary between about 10x10cm and 160x240cm. The titles of the works can sometimes be even several sentences long. The works that are most meaningful to me are based on moments of great, silent joy and gratitude - it's wonderful to be alive.

Program during Konstrundan

My studio is open and there are works on display. At the same time, there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the works and processes of other artists in the house and the artists of the international artist residency at Hub Feenix. Hub Feenix Café will be open. House tours to the former historical Meltola Sanatorium, now the Hub Feenix Center for Creativity and Wellbeing, leave from the lobby on both days at 3 pm.

Driving directions

By car from Helsinki 1h. By train from Helsinki to Karis railway station 55min, from where it is 8km to Hub Feenix. On Saturdays there may be one bus service from Karis station to Meltola stop and back. From Meltola bus stop it is only a 100m walk to Hub Feenix.
