Information about the artist / the group

I am Mia Saporito, Finnish ceramicist and designer based in Helsinki. My main material is porcelain, which I take to the extremes and unusual shapes. My style is very refined, gold adorned unique art pieces and porcelain jewelry. Over the years I have lived in many countries, which all have influenced my artistic eye. While living abroad some of my collections began to cherish my Nordic roots.
I have been making ceramics since I was 17 but studied ceramics more intensively 2017-2020 at Harvard Ceramics Program in Boston, USA.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan I have an open house at my studio, different workshops, sample sales and an exhibition of my latest work.
