Information about the artist / the group

Li Taiga is a Finnish-Swedish visual artist and cultural worker who grew up in rural Ostrobothnia. Her artistic process revolves around exploring inner and outer worlds and fundamental human principles. Monologues and dialogues with nature are also at the core of many of her works, and she strives for biologically and socially sustainable working methods. Taiga works widely with various techniques, such as installation, sculpture, film, sound, and drawing. In many of Taiga's works visual elements are combined with text and poetry. She has a particular fondness for cross-disciplinary projects, conceptual ideas, and dada.
