Information about the artist / the group

I am an artist and illustrator based in Tampere. I primarily paint abstract acrylic and mixed media works, sometimes incorporating embroidery stitches into my paintings. My work combines lightness and expressive gestures, and it has been described as delicate and uplifting. At times, a playful, illustration-like figurativeness characteristic of naïvism also shines through. In addition to painting, I also create digital illustrations.

I am not so much interested in depicting the world as we objectively see it, but rather in exploring colors, shapes, and the emotions and atmospheres they evoke—leaving behind layers and traces.

Driving directions

The studio is located in Viinikka, about two kilometers from the center of Tampere. Bus number 10 (Kaukajärvi) stops about 50 meters from the studio, at the second stop after the Viinikka intersection. The studio is situated in the ground floor of our building, on the right side after Viinikan Pesula.
