Information about the artist / the group

I am a mental health awareness sculptor based in Espoo. I create my sculptures in my home studio. I work with clay and wire/chicken wire. I also draw, make ikebana arrangements and have a great passion for creating jewellery. I am a board member of Helsinki International Artists’ Association ry.
In my free time I am involved in helping people deal with depression and other crises in life. Therefore, in my art I try to express difficult topics touching the life of my clients and myself, for example, depression, loss, psychological abuse, narcissism, psychosis, depersonalisation, etc. But I have less serious works, too, like urban sketches or drawings of nature, because every mind needs some rest.

Program during Konstrundan

I will show you around my home, where my sculptures, drawing and paintings live, and answer all your questions about my works. You are very welcome to stay for tea and buns as well.
As additional entertainment I will provide an opportunity to create a simple piece of jewellery or a sculpture of small wire/chicken wire with my instructions and help if needed. For an additional price.

Driving directions

Second floor. If you come by elevator, appartment is on the right side. If you come by stairs - on your left. There are two guinea pigs and a labrador retriever in the studio.
