Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist (MFA), environmental activist, and teacher. I studied at Aalto University and the Lahti Institute of Fine Arts, as well as the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. I am a sculptor, but I also create video works, media art, and community and environmental art. My exhibitions have been held not only in Finland but also in Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Sweden.

I live most of the year in the countryside, practicing small-scale self-sufficient farming. I have had this house and studio in the countryside since 1996. I love nature, peace and silence, as well as tending my vegetable garden and practicing meditation and yoga. The roots of my art run deep in the land, lakes, and forests.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan, my studio doors will be open from 11:00 to 17:00. At the same time, a pop-up café, "Lasikuisti ja Laituri", will also be operating here. You are also welcome to visit the small gallery in the nearby forest and watch the video art screening.

11 km from Kuhmoinen center towards Isojärvi National Park. Turn right from Länkipohjantie onto Mouhijärventie. 260 m from the intersection, a yellow house on top of the hill.
