Information about the artist / the group

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer. I currently work with machine tufting, which I use to produce wall textiles, rugs and other art and craft products. My visual language is inspired by nature, which in my hands is sometimes transformed into an abstract expression. My products are colorful and partly three-dimensional.

Program during Konstrundan

I sell finished products, in many different price ranges. You can try out the tufting gun if you want, I will prepare a small/medium-sized frame, in which visitors can collaborate to create a wall textile. This work will be donated as a raffle prize.

Driving directions

Studio is located 14 km North from the city of Tornio through road Jokivarrentie (E8). Across the road there's a pink wooden house and the studio is on the river side of the road. On the property there's a long birch alley that leads on the main entrance to the studio which can be found on the left end of garage. If the parking in the front of the garage is full there's also a parking space on the grass area on the right side off birch alley. The studio can be entered from that side also. On the main entrance there's one step and a threshold and on the back door there's a high threshold. A ramp can be arranged if necessary.
