Information about the artist / the group

I am a 35-year-old visual artist (BA) based in Imatra, South Karelia. I work in a multidisciplinary manner with different techniques, currently focusing on woodcuts and the use of recycled materials.

Making art is a way for me to structure my observations about myself and the world around me. I interpret the world through visual means and through art I find connections between seemingly unrelated things. I use a variety of different means for self-expression, which are usually anchored in certain themes.

I am currently the chairman of the South Karelia Artists' Association and an active member of the exhibition work group.
