Visual artist Arto Väisänen (b. 1958 in Iisalmi) lives and works in Kuopio. Väisänen completed his visual arts studies in 1995 in Joensuu and has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions since 1988. His works are in the collections for example the Helsinki Art Museum, the Saastamoinen Foundation, the Wihuri Fund, the Kone Foundation and the Emo Foundation.
