Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist who has lived a varied life. I make prints and sculptures. My favourite techniques at the moment are printmaking, drypoint and mezzotint, and sculpture in bronze, plaster, ceramics, concrete and marble. Although my works are often naturalistic, I make them expressively. In both techniques, I try to connect with my guiding idea, my will, to make visible what I am experiencing at any given moment. In printmaking, I respect line, light and shadow. In sculpture, the essence of the figure and the light and shadow tell me which direction to take again. Life experiences have shaped me and my creative expression. In my works I often deal with the imperfection of humanity.

I display graphics and sculptures in my studio.
I will explain the techniques of the printmaking methods I use and, where possible, try to show some of the practical steps.
