Information about the artist / the group

The basis of creativity in my work as an architect is the millimetre – something I strive to break free from in my art. Arches and round shapes often move boldly and freely in my works. I’m curious and experimental, exploring the same theme with different techniques or mixing several in one piece. Depicting water fascinates me, both in paintings and bronze sculptures. Continuous self-development is my way of life. I see myself as a bold pioneer – as a woman in construction and in bringing Finnish culture abroad. I've held board positions in several art associations and led the European Cultural Association for seven years. Art is life – life is art.

Program during Konstrundan

Working methods for artworks in various techniques are presented, possibly with hands-on experimenting. My own works are displayed as an exhibition. Small groups, by prior arrangement, can enjoy meals and sauna – including the option of a floating sauna raft.
