Charlotta Hietanen is a goldsmith and jewelry designer who started her jewelry business 10 years ago. The company has sometimes operated as a sideline, during studies and other jobs. During her career, Charlotta has studied at the Academy of Design in Kuopio and OSAO in Oulu, been an exchange student in England, interned in many Finnish companies and in Italy. She has worked for example as jewelry course teacher in Vaasa region and as a goldsmith in Lapua, Ikolan Kulta. Pieces are for resale in three different destinations. In her workshop-atelier, she produces unique jewelry pieces, jewelry sets, repair work, and hosts small courses. Diamonds, rose quartz, selenite, malachite, amethysts etc, enameling technique and natural beach stones from travels are used in the jewelry.

Program during Konstrundan

At the jewelry Atelier, you can familiarize yourself with tools, tehniques and finished products of jewelry making, as well as the maker's work through pictures and work demonstrations. If you wish, you can participate in a mini course. You get to ask more about different technologies and projects. You can purchase from ready-made jewelry collections, order a unique piece, get an estimate for repair work, and learn about upcoming courses or inquire about a course for your own event.

Driving directions

Turn for Bothniahalli, take the first left onto a dirt track, take another left after the first house and follow the road around past the blue wooden garage and into the yard. The workshop is the middle building with a 'korupaja' sign above the door. Parking is free. The buss 6 goes to Botniahalli which is 450m walk away.
