Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and sculptor living in Parainen. I have worked as a professional artist since 1998, and my exhibition activity has been consistent for over twenty years. As a sculptor, I create both small-scale sculptures and works that fall under environmental art, but in recent years, drawing combined with color surfaces has become an increasingly important part of my expression. In addition to numerous solo exhibitions in Finland, I have actively participated in group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. My works are included in the collections of the cities of Kankaanpää, Loimaa, Parainen, Pälkäne, and Tampere. I also have public artworks in Estonia, Denmark, Germany, and Peru. My works explore the human experience in all its nuances.

Driving directions

When you are coming from Turku turn to the wright just before Hessund bridge, then turn to wright immediately again and after 20 m to left, to Skråbbo street. After about 1700 m turn to left to small street (sign to Grönvik) and you come to Atelje Arja Maarit Puhakka.
