Information about the artist / the group

We are Minna & Minna, two long-time collaborators behind our own design brands. Minna Kaartinen has led her women's clothing brand Vietto since 2007, and now her work has expanded into art that has been bubbling beneath the surface for a long time. She paints, tufts, and creates ceramics, and also combines visual art with sound to create a new audiovisual art. Minna Särelä has been the driving force behind the Paloni store she developed, and now her creative forces have been unleashed in the form of art. She paints and uses dry pastels in her works.

Program during Konstrundan

During the Konstrundan event, you can visit an exhibition in Loviisa at the Peikonkello flower shop with the theme "Minna & Minna: Art in the Shade." Paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works that converse in the space between the organic and the pixelated, the representational and the abstract, as well as humor and nerdiness, invite you to approach art without prejudice in surprising environments. We will organize an opening with some refreshments.
