I work with hand painted stop motion animation combining traditional and experimental techniques. I am inspired by traditional art and craft forms and look for ways to interpret and revive them in the modern art world. I am fascinated by and draw a lot from the old Nordic wooden architecture, from old religious art and decorations, as well as Gothic art. The anonymous masters of the Middle Ages managed to create works that feel modern and interesting even today.
