Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist working in Karhusaari, Espoo. The historical environment of Karhusaari has been a source of peace and inspiration for my artistic work since 2008.

Painting has always been my closest form of expression. My works are expressive, semi-abstract, and multilayered, both in technique and content. I aim to create an atmosphere in my paintings that captivates the viewer and offers a moment of reflection and self-recognition. I primarily work with tempera and oil paints, but I also experiment with mixed media and digital techniques. I am drawn to a ethereal aesthetic and the silent dialogue between myself and the surrounding world through painting. In addition to my artistic work, I teach digital art, drawing, and painting at the art schools of Espoo and Kauniainen.
