Information about the artist / the group

I have always been a hermit soul, drawing and sketching imaginary worlds since I was young. My primary mediums are oil colors, acrylics and aquarelle. The majority of my recent paintings have been characterized by an exploration of dreams, memories and different beliefs. My work draws upon a variety of sources, including art history and diverse mythologies. The act of painting allows me to investigate realms of the human subconscious by symbolism. My paintings often display fantasy inspired worlds that reflect the mundane. The creative process starts with a couple of carefully selected key ideas. Throughout the long painting journey I further study and analyze the subject, also harnessing intuition along the way. The medium of painting is the most effective method of communication for me

Program during Konstrundan

The programme consists of a presentation of my earlier paintings, which are hung on the wall of my studio. Visitors are free to view them any time during the visit. In addition to this, I will demonstrate the supplies I use to paint and work on my long-standing painting in the presence of guests. During the visits, I am happy to answer questions and talk about my journey as a young painter and the inspirations behind my paintings.
