Information about the artist / the group

I am a printmaker with a passion for printing techniques and paper. My studio is located in Pikisaari, Oulu, in Kutomo, at the cultural courtyard of Villatehdas. As for the methods of printmaking, I have focused on monotypes. They are usually intuitive plays with shapes and colors or more precise and realistic studies of the subject. As a technique, monotype strongly involves surprise and coincidence, both of which are pleasant spices for making art for me. Drawing and relief printing are also currently the techniques that attract me. In addition to everyday things, I find inspiration and themes for my work in the world of science, nature, mythologies and mysticism.
