Information about the artist / the group

Taidetalo RaumArs, opened in early 2025, is located in an old wooden house next to the Rauma main library. We have a residency apartment for international guest artists and gallery spaces for rotating exhibitions. For over 25 years, the RaumArs artist-in-residence program has operated as a community art-focused residency. In January 2025, we moved into new premises and our operations have expanded. In addition to the residency, the Art House now hosts changing exhibitions and other cultural events. In September, our residency guest is media artist Jack Faber (IL/FI), and the gallery will feature drawings by Paula Suominen and ceramics by Leena Hyttinen.
