Information about the artist / the group

I am a Ghanaian-American multidisciplinary artist. I work with the dimensions of language, primarily in physical and digital collage, long-form fiction, and lyrical prose. In my practice, the story guides the choice of artistic mediums. I enjoy working with recycled materials, acrylic paints, fabric, and anything else that serves the concept I'm bringing to life. Previous and ongoing projects been studies in healing, bodily autonomy, neurodivergence, feminine archetypes, and self-liberation.

Program during Konstrundan

I've been working on a series of creative projects about the journey from conditioned otherness to remembered belonging. I will share some of the completed pieces, including digital and physical collages, pieces of an artist's book, and narrative writing samples.
