Drawing, Painting
I am Anna-Maria Sinisalo, a trained visual artist from Helsinki. Nature is often strongly present in my works. I am interested in the mystery of nature and man's connection to nature, his inner self and the invisible.
In the process of creating art, I am interested in the journey of discovery. Each work is its own journey and its task is to bring something into view.
At the moment, I mainly focus on pigment and watercolors on canvas as materials. When working with pigment and watercolor, I am attracted by its certain unpredictability and intuitiveness.
Works from recent years are on display in the workroom. It's possible to buy art. Visitors can also get to know the pigment and watercolor technique on canvas and, if they wish, also test the technique on small bases.
Entrance through the building's main door. From the lobby, turn right to the B-wing of the building, 6th floor, room B627.
Meilahti's Tilajakamo is located in the former old health care / nursing college at Tukholmankatu 10. The entrance is recognizable from Gunnar Finne's relief 'Health Care' from 1939. Stogis - Pieni Aulagalleria (small art gallery) is also located in the lobby of the building.
The building does not have its own parking area or guest spaces - prefer public transport! By bus 25 - stop Tukholmankatu. Bus lines 20, 30, 500 and 510 also bring to the area. Likewise Trolleys 4 and 7. Check the HSL route guide for updated information!
