Information about the artist / the group

I am a crafter from Kalax, Porvoo. Visual arts and crafts have been part of my life since childhood and when I founded my company Nedergård Handicrafts in 2022, hobby turned into profession. Three-dimensional creating is my passion and clay is my favorite material. I throw pots on the wheel and make human sculptures. My pottery represents an earthy style and color scale. I also make needle felted wool portraits of animals. My work space is situated at my home and in addition to my own production, I teach art classes and workshops for all ages.

Program during Konstrundan

My summer workspace is in a farm building in our yard, where I also have a small farm shop. On Konstrundan, I offer an insight into the different stages of the creating process through work demonstrations. Those who are interested can also try wheel throwing themselves. In the farm shop there are finished products for sale and you can also get familiar with our bees, sheep and chickens.
