Art always happens in connection with others; by this I mean that the artist never creates completely alone, he is accompanied by a group of people and other visible and invisible factors that help in the creation of works of art.

My artistic work is like a drop of ink falling on a wet paper. The threads of the drop expand tenderly in many directions; these threads might come out as ink drawings, paintings, poetry, photography or even elf creatures standing on their own feet. Whether it’s ink drawings, poetry or some other form of artistic expression, my works are united by the same spirit. My works carry you into the phenomenal world of (human) nature and even deeper, behind them.

I live and work in a place in nature, which my spouse and I call the Tulipuuvaltakunta.

Program during Konstrundan

TOGETHER is the theme of the exhibition, highlighting human connections and our bond with creation. In the Tuulipuuvaltakunta gallery, a soundscape created with Jouni Hallikainen fills the space, alongside my glowing-in-the-dark artworks. The Magic Forest offers a peaceful path with poetry and crystals. Jouni’s guitar tones can be heard at 12 PM & 3 PM.

Driving directions

Note! The location is not near the center of Tarvasjoki. The easiest way to get there is to drive along Highway 10 towards Hämeenlinna and turn left onto Tiipiläntie in the direction of Tilkanen. Drive about 3 km, then turn left onto Suurilantie (a gravel road). After less than 1 km, you'll see a grey cottage with solar panels in front, just past the power transformer on the left. You’ve arrived at our Tuulipuuvaltakunta.
