Information about the artist / the group

In my works, I deal with a person's inner world, personal story, feelings and moods. By painting, I analyze my perception of myself, being a person and my relationship with the world, and I hope that the viewer can find something to relate to in my art. In my works, female figures with closed eyes often recur.

I was born in 1979 in Varkaus. I have a Master's degree in Art. In addition to being an artist, I also work as an art instructor and framer in my own company, Taidehuone Maria.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan, my studio takes over my entire store and you can get to know the creation process of my works up close. I will be moving to paint from the small back room to my spacious and bright shop space, and you can come and watch the progress of the paintings and talk with me about my art and works.

If you wish, you can also paint your own small work of art, which you will immediately receive framed! Please reserve about an hour for painting the artwork.
