Eva Mäkelä (b. 1989, Porvoo) is a sculptor who currently lives and works in Imatra, and graduated from Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in 2018. Their sculptures consist of different materials, such as metal, polymer clay, wood and plaster. The formal languages ​​of the works are either soft fleshy figures or brutalist, neat cubic installations with geometric videos. Somewhere in the folds of reality there is a strange valley, where realities are wavering.
