Information about the artist / the group

Kaisa Lamminpää-Raekallio is a painter from Kuopio,
Gardener of Dreams who is inspired by rich, sprawling colours, atmospheres,
secret, forgotten gardens and landscapes.
´I paint very intuitively, playing and improvising so that the result is often surprising even to myself!
I also work in a multidisciplinary field, combining painting and performance.
On request I also guide others into the world of art
through my company Valontanssi.´

Program during Konstrundan

During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the VINTTI of the KulttuuriKonepaja. In my own studio you can see paintings in progress as well as finished paintings.
In the Pop-Up Gallery of the KulttuuriKonepaja Vintti, you will find an art exhibition of my paintings and I will tell visitors about my working methods and my path as an artist.
A small Pop-Up Café will be open throughout the event and live music will be provided by my musician-spouse
Antti Raekallio.

KulttuuriKonepajan Vintti, Pohjolankatu 1, Männistö, Kuopio. My studio is located at the end of Kullervonkatu, from where you take the road down to the parking lot, wooden stairs on the 2nd floor.
