Tiina Osara is a Finnish visual artist, who lived in Paris for 11 years and moved to Lahti in the summer of 2024. She is known for her large-scale abstract, colorful and multi-layered paintings.
A special arena of her art is action painting and live performances at classical music concerts. At concerts, Osara transfers her feelings from the music playing in real time into paintings on canvas so that the concert audience can follow her work. Classical music is main the subject of her paintings.
Osara's paintings are shaped through the dialogue of movement/body, and from the burning need to find and achieve something new.
