Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist working with various techniques. My artistic interests are diverse: portraits (oil or tempera), landscapes (watercolor), and abstract paintings. Graphic art is also close to my heart. I studied art at the Turku School of Art in the 1970s, with Hilkka Toivola as my main teacher. Over the years, I have complemented my studies with watercolor techniques in Sweden and graphic techniques with various printmakers in Finland.

Program during Konstrundan

I believe the best "program" is the encounter between people and my art in my studio. Small snacks are available along with coffee, tea, or juice. I’m happy to share the background of my paintings and demonstrate watercolor techniques. Unfortunately, as I will have to give up my bright studio in a year, there is now an opportunity to purchase my art at a discounted price (-50%).

Driving directions

There is a bus stop at Stålarmsgatan, from where a path with stairs leads up to the hill where three high-rise buildings, A, B, and C, are located. Aino's studio is in building A. The front door is open, and the studio is on the second floor.
