I am an illustrator and visual artist based in Espoo. For over a decade, I have infused my work with a dreamy atmosphere and vibrant colours. I find inspiration in the diversity of people and the uniqueness of flora and fauna. Alongside commercial works and volunteering as illustrator, in my personal projects, I explore interesting topics such as women power, local second-hand culture, and immigration, based on my own experiences. My window exhibition Southern Souls Living North went at Globe Art Point, Helsinki. It is a collection of illustrated posters reflecting my daily life with my partner in Finland. I work with both digital-based visual methods, including animation, and traditional techniques like painting or working with clay.
I am planning a small exhibition where people can chat with me over coffee or tea and purchase an illustration or artwork. I will also host an art workshop to share my experience, and visitors will have the opportunity to create their own piece of art.
Globe Art Point is located next to Kamppi metro station and has direct street access since it's on the first floor. If you're coming from the metro, you'll first see two large glass windows, and a bit further along, you'll find the entrance. Look for the Globe Art Point sign near the door. If you have trouble finding the studio or need any assistance getting inside, please contact the organizer. Globe Art Point is a dog-friendly and kid-friendly place.
