Information about the artist / the group

I am Päivi Rintaniemi, a sculptor, designer, and above all, a craftsman. Over the decades, I have refined various ceramic techniques to serve my artistic expression as well as the design and production of functional objects.
Through my sculptures, I explore the challenges of human existence and the wonder of life. With my designs – tableware and interior decor items – I aim to bring joy and timeless, functional objects into homes.
