Information about the artist / the group

I am a graphic designer, trained as a ceramicist at Yrkeshögskolan Sydväst in Tammisaari. I strive to keep my antennas up for everything around me; curiosity is my driving force, and creating something new is my work. I see art-making as a playground where I can choose an expression that suits the current play, whether by painting or creating sculptures. My artworks surprise with their final outcome, their composition, contrast, both for me as the creator and for the viewer. I mainly paint with acrylics, and my style varies depending on my mood, from abstract to fully detailed realistic expression. The sculptures are made from clay, sometimes even dug up from the lake bottom.

Program during Konstrundan

I am part of the "Kekkerit" exhibition at Teijon Masuuni with our art group Top10Art. There is an opportunity to get to know the artists and artworks in the group exhibition. During the meeting, we will discuss and talk about the exhibition and the artist's approach, expression, and technique, illustrating this practically as well. The artist's statement and CV are available. The works in the exhibition are for sale, as well as cards I have created.
