Graphic art
I am a printmaker from Rauma. For years I have been depicting in my works various spaces, rooms and landscapes where the presence of a person is felt but not seen. My silent and beautiful images are inspired by the important places in my life, like my grandmothers' houses and past homes. Through them, I have wanted to address human existence, the formation of identity and the legitimacy of memory and remembrance. Time passes, some things remain, some disappear, some become timeless. In my works I search for the place of memory before the past. My works are multi-coloured, relief prints made with the single-tile technique.
During Konstrundan, a small-scale exhibition will be on display in my studio.
