Information about the artist / the group

My name is Nina and I’m a craftsperson and furniture maker based in Helsinki. I have a degree in interior design from Helsinki Design School and a master’s degree in business from Hanken, and I’ve also completed some joinery studies at Axxell. After a long career at Google, I decided to follow my creative dream and in 2024 I set up a company which aims to bring colour and joy into spaces – both through paintings and furniture.

I paint with an experimental and playful approach, often on plywood, giving my works a humorous or narrative touch. Many of my paintings are character-driven works, where colours, textures, and imagination intertwine.

Program during Konstrundan

My workshop is in the basement of our house, and I would open it up to visitors. I'd show them the projects I'm working on, and what a day in the life looks like for me as a creative entrepreneur.
