Maya Kubinova is visual artist who works with photography, mainly analogue. Her work process touches on the materiality of the photography itself, resulting in sculptural / installation presentations. There is an interest in corporeality within the context of random environments, questions formed for the sake of questions, poetical, observational, rich in colours or absence of them.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan there will be open studio - presentation, with time and space for shared thoughts. Also other artist from Grey Garden studios will be presenting their work on the same floor and in the building next door.

Driving directions

The studio is at the highest building in Merihaka, right after the walking bridge from Hakaniemi. The main entrance is under the roof. At the entrance there will be instructions on how to get to 3rd. floor.
