Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and graphic designer living and working in Kajaani. I am a member of the Oulu Artists' Association 63 and Kajaani Visual Artists, among others. My studio and gallery with my own works are located near the city center on Alakatu. I have numerous solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and joint exhibitions annually. Internationally, I am part of digital exhibitions, art publications, and online galleries. The starting point for my artistic expression is the dynamics of nature and especially the strong northern nature; Natura Naturans, the creative nature. I explore and simplify my surroundings by painting and sculpting.

Program during Konstrundan

I present my work, exhibited paintings, ceramic and collage pieces. I explain the creation process, working methods, and techniques of the artworks. In the upstairs studio, I talk about the materials I use, including colors. I introduce the basics and tools of collage technique and gelli-print technique, with the opportunity to try it out yourself.
