Information about the artist / the group

I, Yvonne Holmström, have studied at an art school in Stockholm and participated in several courses in oil painting, mixed media. I'm painting both abstract and naturalistic art. I like to experiment and push the boundaries.
In my abstract works I paint with mixed media, mainly acrylic paint. To recreate the 3-D effect, I experiment with different materials such as pieces of wood, paper, tin, concrete etc.
My biggest source of inspiration is all exciting materia in my surroundings.
My naturalistic paintings such as animals, portraits, landscapes become a mixture of watercolour, soft pastel, coloured pencils and acrylic. Some of my original paintings are available as prints on posters, plywood or canvas.
