Information about the artist / the group

Marika KK, Visual Artist from Ostra-Bothnia. She entered the world of art twenty years ago, and she is still as passionate about the mixed media art and art of letters – as when she started. Pens, nibs, and brushes are her passion, but she can just as easily be creative with a twig from a tree or a single piece of straw. Marika also works as a A Art photographer, and the principles of design and composition are the same in that field as in the letter arts. It is a joy for her to be able to blend her skills as a photographer and as a artist, applying many years of study in each to create original, inspirational art – art that has gained her international exposure through magazine articles and illustrations, exhibits, and many delighted clients.
