Information about the artist / the group

I'm a comics artist and a graphic designer. I published my first comics in 1999 and since then I've created over ten books which deal with topics such as adventure travel and philosophical enquiries into the nature of being. I've received the Comics FInlandia, Puupäähattu and Kultahuippu prizes and I've also been awarded the title Graphic designer of the Year together with my partner Christoffer Leka. Design students regularly visit our studio and we give them presentations on graphic design, comics and visual storytelling.

Program during Konstrundan

At my studio the visitors can acquaint themselves with the entire work process, starting from the initial idea and ending with a finalized graphic novel. I work with both traditional and digital methods and publish my comics myself. I'm always happy to share tips to everyone who would like to publish their own graphic novel or publish comics online!

Driving directions

Entrance from the inner yard. There's a sign in the inner yard next to the door that says 21B. You can enter the inner yard through the gate on Alexandersgatan or Fredsgatan. There are no parking spots available in the inner yard.
