Information about the artist / the group

I live in Pori and I graduated from Pori art school in the spring of 2025 (basic art studies, extensive curriculum 4 years). I am a 52-year-old artist and I make ceramic sculptures and paintings. As an art form, sculpture is particularly dear to me. As a material, clay is fascinating because of its naturalness and visuality. With it, the emotional states and contradictions inside me are shaped into concrete, visible and understandable entities. I make my sculptures using several different techniques, very emotionally and spontaneously. The works are often born and shaped after a very long and sometimes painful manufacturing process.

Program during Konstrundan

At the Konstrundan event, I will present my workplace as well as several sculptures and paintings. At the event, you can try for yourself what kind of material clay is and I can show you how I work with clay myself.
