Tiina Miettinen is an artist from Joensuu who works with visual, textile and dance art in her company Taidestudio Miettinen. At the moment, the subject of interest is especially the combination of painting and textile art, traditional craft techniques combined with contemporary art, and the use of recycled materials in art. As a creator of art, Tiina was previously known as a dance teacher, today the movement of the body and mind is transferred through hands and a brush to a visual work.
