Painting, Visual arts
My practice merges abstract painting, collage and digital techniques. Recent works incorporate AI-generated images based on my own paintings, which are printed and used as collage, emphasizing the physicality of the art object over the illusion of the digital image.
Recurring symbols—skulls, chess pieces, and dice—reference mortality, strategy, and chance, touching on themes of control and unpredictability. While AI plays a role in my process, its limitations and ethical implications remain a central theme.
Originally from the U.S., I lived in New York before moving to Helsinki. My work has been included in over 60 exhibitions internationally, with pieces in museum and private collections.
