Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and painter from Fiskars. I have been committed to my art for thirty years. I studied at the Art School Maa (1989–1994) in Helsinki, as well as at the Lahti Art Institute and the Stieglitz Academy of Art in St. Petersburg (2010–2011). Since 1996, I have participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad.

My art is characterized by strong colors and spatial structures. In my abstract and dynamic paintings, there are references to expressionism and constructivism. They combine geometric basic elements, carefully considered composition, and, as a counterbalance, often spontaneous painting, where irregular brushstrokes merge with the polyphony and sensitivity of lavish colors.
