Information about the artist / the group

I am Noora Hattunen, an artist-entrepreneur from Joensuu. I mainly make abstract visual art with mixed media technique, because the combination of different materials and techniques is insanely interesting. I love colors and I use them quite boldly in my work. In my art, I often reflect my inner world, and power animals also appear repeatedly in my works; the bear fascinates year after year. In addition to fine art, my areas of expertise include audiovisual works, illustrations, pattern design, product design and other visual design, as well as project management (I am, for example, the Head Designer of Ilosaarirock's regional visuals). In my studio, I run Paint & Wine courses and other art courses mainly for adults.
