Information about the artist / the group

Rafael Guerra is a traditional painter, who studied and taught painting in Italy and Spain, and paints various subjects in connection to Nature, such as Landscapes and Animals, and also does Commissions for Portraits and Pet Portraits.
Originally from Brazil, Guerra graduated in Drawing and Painting from the prestigious Florence Academy of Art, where he was also Main Instructor in their Drawing and Painting Program, before moving to Finland. He now works from his private studio in Espoo. Guerra is influenced by nature, tales and myths, and his works reflect this passion for natural things, incorporating aspects of a rustic, natural life, with vibrant dramatic colours portraying the beauty of the natural world.

Program during Konstrundan

In the Artist's studio, the visitor will be able to see the workspace - painting and preparation areas, as well as some of the artist's finished works. The visitor will be able to interact with the artist and ask questions about his work. The artist will have available paintings and prints in place, which the visitor can acquire.

Driving directions

The studio is located in the courtyard, between the buildings, on the ground floor.
There is street parking at Kääntöpiiri street, and also at Kuunsirppi street. You can approach the building either through Kääantopiiri, or through the side street by Kuunkatu 10.
