Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and art therapist from Salo. I paint with acrylic colors, with themes like travelling, mental health, nature. I like acrylic paints because they are water soluble and almost odorless and dry quickly. I belong to the Salo artist association and I am on the board of the association. I have participated in many group exhibitions and have held a few solo exhibitions.
Croquis drawing has been a close part of my work since my student days, and I host croquis sessions in Galleria Joutsen of the Salo artists' association every three weeks.
I am also an expressive arts therapist and hold workshops and longer courses. I have always been interested in the work of a therapist and the well-being effects of art and working with people.

Program during Konstrundan

I will share details about the techniques and process behind my paintings, as well as the themes and inspirations. My works will be displayed on walls and tables. There will also be brochures and information about expressive art therapy, and I’m happy to tell visitors more about it. Drinks and light snacks will be available.
