When I paint, I step into an area that I usually can't put words to, even though I am also a communication professional. I forget the environment - I reach for some kind of illusion of freedom.
I paint with acrylic, pigment and oil colours. I also make monotypes. I sometimes paint on my journeys, especially to France, where I take regular painting trips, because it was there that I learned my art techniques twenty years ago.
In painting, landscape is a timeless theme.
Colour acts as a code for my landscapes and an opener for interpretation. My works are sometimes reduced, almost monochromatic and impressionistically expressive, sometimes almost completely abstract, comprehensive atmospheres. Next to the horizons, I paint fairy tale pictures of sorts.

The cable factory has several artists who open their doors during Konstrundan. I am one of them, ready to talk about my paintings and talk to visitors interested in art.
