Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist, curator, and visual arts design teacher. I hold a Doctor of Arts degree. My studio is located in my home in Halikko, Salo, where I also have a small Home Gallery at the same address. I am a member of the Finnish Painters' Union and the Turku Artists' Association.
I paint and draw using mixed media: tempera, ink, oil, acrylic, charcoal, and pencil. Sometimes I use old or collected textile materials as the base of my paintings. In my works, I layer images, colors, figures, and texts. The content arises from observations, wonder... things that won’t let go.

Driving directions

Turn from the 110 -road to the direction of Angelniemi. After less than a kilometer, turn left onto Lehtiniementie / Meisalantie (gravel road). About three kilometers away, a blue-gray farmhouse with white, yellow and red outbuildings. Welcome!
